The Nike Terminator High Gets Reintroduced in Its “Seattle Supersonics” Colorway
Supersonics fans will be excited for this one.
[Update 6 Jun 2023] More images of the Nike Terminator High “Seattle Supersonics” have emerged, offering a more detailed and angular look at the pair. The new set of photos came from its original release but new official ones should surface soon enough. Also, they’re now said to retail for US$125 but no release date has been disclosed yet. Stay tuned!
Nike hasn’t slowed down on the Terminator resurgence in recent times. Following the “University Red” and “Game Royal” colorways, the Beaverton-based brand has turned their attention to more basketball-related themes. This can be seen with the Nike Terminator Low “NY vs NY”, and this brand new Nike Terminator High “Seattle”.
For the young or unaware, Seattle used to have a NBA team named the Seattle Supersonics, which became the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2006. A longtime favorite among many NBA fans due to its rich history, Nike has now shown their love for the team as well by dousing the Terminator High in the team’s colors.
This latest offering sees the silhouette sport the iconic mix of yellow and forest green. White arrives on the profile Swooshes, heel, laces and midsole to break things up ever so slightly, while the enlarged NIKE logo on the heel is painted in yellow with white outlines, giving it a collegiate feel at the same time.
While images for the new Nike Terminator High “Seattle” have yet to surface, take a trip down memory lane to the 2004 pair via the top slider above. Stay tuned for more release updates.
