Footpatrol Is Reviving Y2K Fashion Through Their PUMA Velophasis Collaboration
With motifs offering a trip down memory lane.
Harnessing the nostalgic allure of the early 2000s, Footpatrol and PUMA embark on a sartorial journey to revive the Velophasis silhouette.
A striking color palette of metallic silver and icy blue hues takes the spotlight, complemented by translucent overlays, squishy gel-branded heel logos reminiscent of inflatable furniture, and reflective underlays beneath air mesh panels.
To further amplify the early 2000s vibe, Footpatrol has gone the extra mile, crafting visuals that evoke the nostalgia of console game demo discs found in print magazines. The old-school menu system, categorized into Metal, Gel, and Ice elements, harmonizes with a soundtrack that echoes the era’s distinct melodies, completing the immersive Y2K experience.
Find the Footpatrol x PUMA Velophasis exclusively on Footpatrol’s brick-and-click stores on 2 December, with an RRP of 140 GBP (~US$176).
