Puma and atmos have had many collaborations over the years and the partnership has been strong throughout 2022. As it draws to a close, there’s one more bullet in the chamber and the trigger’s just been pulled days shy from the new year.

The collaborative pair-in-discussion is a followup to its black predecessor released last year. The atmos x Puma Suede VTG MIJ “Sukajan 2.0” is inspired by the Sukajan, the souvenir jacket that gained world-renown thanks to American soldiers stationed in Yokosuka. Borrowing the aforementioned’s hallmarks, the pair features a nylon finish on the upper as well, along with the artistic embroidery on the profiles.

Blue engulfs the surface of the shoe, serving as the background of the various artistic embellishments. Starting off with the metallic silver Puma vector on the lateral, a white falcon hovers above as cherry blossoms surrounds it. On the other side features a map of Japan with the various city names embroidered along the track lines. It is called Puma Suede after all, thus it makes an appearance on the toe box, the eye stays, as well as the heel.

The pair is available now at atmos with a price tag of JPY22,000 (~US$164).

If this’s the color you’re after, consider the ADER ERROR x Converse Chuck 70 that’s dropping soon too.
