Shortly after their most recent collaboration, Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance are back once again. This time, they’re working on more familiar silhouettes, namely the 550 and 650. This capsule honors New York’s Lower East Side communal hub, the Masaryk Community Gym.

Recently revealed via their Instagram, Aimé Leon Dore explains the inspiration behind the capsule. The four collaborative colorways are a culmination of all five major boroughs of New York City, and how each has influenced the game of basketball.

The two 550 colorways come in a slightly off-white hue, with one boasting gold and navy accents while the other sees green and grey share real estate. For the high-top 650s, the sail uppers are replaced with a crisp white dressing, while each shoe also shares the same accents as its low-top counterparts. All four shoes come with co-branded detailing, along with a textured finishing on their “N” side profiles that simulates a basketball.

All four colorways of the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 and 650 “Masaryk” Capsule are now live via raffle through Aimé Leon Dore’s website. The 550s will retail at US$130, and the 650s will go for US$165. Don’t wait too long if you’re interested; the raffles will close on 25 October at 11:59PM EST.
