Converse Japan Launches All-Star Collaborations with Calbee, Tamagotchi, G-SHOCK and More

"Pop-Up Japan" is a Converse Japan-exclusive crossover project featuring some of the country's most iconic brands.

A celebration of Japanese culture and creativity, Converse Japan’s “Pop-Up Japan” project is dropping a range of Converse All-Star Hi models, in collaboration with some of Japan’s most iconic brands, spanning automobile to electronic pets and potato chips.

First up, there’s G-SHOCK x Converse All-Star Hi and Honda x Converse All-Star Hi collabs, both of which are releasing exclusively in Japan today. Coming up next, Bandai’s Tamagotchi and Calbee potato chips will take over the mantle.

What makes these Converse Japan exclusives even sweeter is every one of these crossovers hones in on each brand’s design aesthetics and blends them harmoniously into the Converse legacy sneaker.

An All-Star Hi featuring a canvas upper printed with orange potato chips? What about a full black pair that is chock full of G-SHOCK-inspired details such as the “Protection” text on the toes?
