Birkenstock and Tekla Fabrics have revolved in the same orbit even before coming together for a limited edition collection of footwear and sleepwear. Two brands that epitomize elevated comfort, the collection materializes an ethereal quality akin to Japanese Zen, reimagining Birkenstock’s Uji and Nagoya as well as Tekla’s hallmark stripes.

The Uji is a double strapped sandal with a soft fleece lining, a display of their signature comfort; while the Nagoya, a Boston Mule-inspired clogs, feature the same soft fleece with its covered Cazador suede upper affixed with an overlapping strap.

The apparel collection consists of comfortable loungewear in Tekla’s signature striped pattern. All the offerings, shoes and clothes, will be availed in Mauve, Straw, Slate, and Powder colorways.

The BIRKENSTOCK/Tekla collection is scheduled for release on 12 October at Tekla and BIRKENSTOCK 1774, in addition to the latter’s Harajuku concept store.

In other sneaker-related news, more Wales Bonner x adidas Samba colorways are expected to arrive in November.
