Following the likes of Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design, the next streetwear sensation to join forces with Japanese toy manufacturer Bandai is none other than A BATHING APE (BAPE).

The duo presents a capsule collection centered around the classic Tamagotchi, a handheld virtual pet simulation game that gained worldwide popularity in the late 90s to early 2000s. Introducing three new editions of the device, each features a distinctive ABC CAMO colorway and APE HEAD display.

Accompanying the collectible comes a lineup of t-shirts and pullover hoodies, dressed in dual branding details and various graphic prints such as APE HEAD logos, Tamagotchi and pixelated character art.

Pre-orders for the BAPE x Bandai Tamagotchi collection is slated to run from 16 October 11am JST to 31 October 11pm JST via the PREMIUM BANDAI website and orders will be shipped from November onwards. Prices will range from US$59 to US$329.
