The Jordan Air Ship has gotten plenty of time in the sun in 2023, aided by the likes of Corporate most recently, Awake NY, A Ma Maniére, and Nigel Sylvester earlier in the year. As it goes, Nike will usually engage collaborators to reintroduce the silhouette before riding on the inertia created via subsequent inline releases.

So, expect to see more of the Air Ship heading in to 2024. But before the year’s over, there’s one more on the way. This time from Japanese retailer Forget-me-nots.

This limited-edition women’s release, dubbed the Forget-me-nots x Jordan Air Ship “From Bud To Flower,” is an homage to the fascinating nature of the eponymous flower. Its transformation from an unassuming white bud into a stunning blue or purple bloom, as reflected in the azure of the heel branding and outsole underfoot.

The concept is further materialized through the shoe’s pure White leather upper, delicately offset by its muted Grey Swooshes in suede. The jagged-edged leather collar giving the aesthetic an edge. The enigmatic “Rush Fuchsia,” though hidden in the teaser, may also be included in the shoe’s potential tearaway layers.

We’ll likely find out on 27 September where they’ll be availed on Forget-me-nots’ website and select NBHD retailers with an RRP of US$150.
