The Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Bicoastal” Hits Our Shores in 2024
Slated for Summer 2024.
[Update 8 Sep 2023] It’s still relatively early looking towards the rumored 2024 release date for the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Bicoastal”. @xcsnkr has provided another look at the sneaker, featuring a completely different design as compared to initial mock-ups. Scales have been added to the profile Swooshes, collar and toe box, which gives bigger rise to the nickname of the shoe. Check it out via the top slider above, and stay tuned for more updates.
Ever since Nike announced that the Kobe Bryant line was officially returning, we’ve been treated to a whole myriad of Kobe shoes that are planned for the later half of the year and onwards. These include some iconic shoes such as the Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch” and Air Force 1 “Kobe Bryant”. To further efforts to reinvigorate the sub-brand, Nike will release a new colorway for the Kobe 4 Protro, titled “Bicoastal”.
As its name would suggest, the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Bicoastal” draws inspiration from the ocean. The titular shade of green takes on most of the shoe’s upper, with complementary Metallic Silver accentuating the shoe. Black arrives on Kobe’s signature logo and on the outsole underfoot.
