BAPE Unveil Their New Outdoor-Focused “A Camping Ape” Line
The Bathing Ape goes back to nature bringing with it a range of camping essentials.
BAPE recently announced its vetnure into the great outdoors with the debut of their “A Camping Ape” line of camping gear; engaging experts in the field such as furniture company Helinox, Japanese camping brand JAGUY, and textile powerhouse Pendleton, in their first foray into the landscape.
Helinox adorn their durable chairs, tables, and cupholders in BAPE’s hallmark camouflage; additionally, imbuing stainless steel cookware like drip kettles and stacking mugs with the streetwear brand’s logo. The partnership culminates with the BAPE x Helinox Royal Box, a protective polyester model distinctive to the outdoor specialists, and the BAPE x Helinox Camo Tarp.
Moreover, Pendleton brings to the table their signature “Tucson”-patterned rustic rugs, along with a line of cushion gloves, oven gloves, and apron—tied together with BAPE branding. To complete the series, JAGUY offers a variety of gear boxes, soft coolers, and lantern boxes.
The range is currently on display at Tokyo’s Isetan Shinjuku shop until 18 July, showcasing the outdoor necessities for the streetwear-savvy camper as well as exclusive “A Camping Ape” T-shirts.
There’s no firm release date yet but they should appear in BAPE’s website within the coming months. Stay tuned! We’ll provide an update as soon as word gets to us!
