Sneaker District Adds Their Spin to the Reebok Club C Mid II Vintage
With allusions to the Dutch flag and a specially-designed logo by graffiti artist DELTA.
Reebok has an iconic archive that they’ll forever be known for. Lately however, they’ve been gaining more appeal with a new generation of fans, largely helped by their initiatives with contemporary labels like BOTTER, KANGHYUK, and PLEASURES, et al. Joining this exclusive roster is Amsterdam-based retailer Sneaker District, taking on the Club C Mid II Vintage.
It’s of course reminiscent of the staple Club C, but SD have made their own tweaks. Representing the accent colors of the Dutch flag, the eyelets change between red and blue fillings. Moreover, an “SD” insignia lands on the tongues and quarter panel windows adjacent to Reebok’s. The store’s logo, created by graffiti artist DELTA, takes up real estate on the insoles.
As for its palette, off-white vintage-style leather panels take up the majority of the space, while the internal liners, midsoles, and treads are painted a creamy color.
The pair will be availed on Sneaker District’s website and select European retailers on 6 July with a price tag of 110 EUR (~US$120).
