A new “Ember Glow” colorway of the Nike Ja 1 has surfaced. This is the first new colorway of Ja Morant’s signature shoe since the Memphis Grizzlies star got into trouble for flashing a gun during a few of his Instagram livestreams.

The Nike Ja 1 “Ember Glow” follows its predecessors, spotting a bright color scheme that can’t be more different than what’s happening to Morant in real life. “Ember Glow” dresses the synthetic and mesh upper, while “Blue Lightning” profile Swooshes provide contrast to the titular colorway. The mismatched JA-branded tongue labels and the embroidered “12” on the “Ember Glow” also take cues from previous Ja 1 models.

This pair of Nike Ja 1 is slated to drop on 3 July 2023 at the retail price of US$110.
