The New Balance MT580 VTG Surfaces in a Seraphic “White”
Contrary to the colorful summer releases of NB's contemporaries.
Summer’s here but while the vibes of the season would usually summon a slew of polychromatic releases, New Balance has chosen to go the other way opting for a more muted color palette for their upcoming ones. If there’s a “Black” colorway of the model, then it usually entails a “White”, vice versa.
Once exclusive to Japan, the MT580 has been leaving its footprint in North America as well.
White premium leather forms most of its construction. Its base layer sees split-toned design, with a sandy hue dressing the suede on the toe box. Adjacent details include the “N” branding on the profiles, presided over by plastic guards. The Rollbar-assisted sole unit bears an off-white finish underneath giving it an aged appearance. Holistically, its clean, uniform aesthetic makes it a perfect accompaniment to one’s vibrant summer fits.
They’re available now on BSTN’s webstore with an RRP of US$140.
