Hot on the heels of the New Balance 990v6 “Navy and Grey”, which was released on Grey Day 2023, is a pair of 990v6 in an eye-catching “Purple Angora” colorway.

The New Balance 990v6 officially landed late last year and sees the sixth edition of New Balance’s most popular silhouette go through a huge transformation. The familiar suede-and-mesh upper sports a more streamlined appearance, while its sole unit now features the running brand’s state-of-the-art Fuel Cell cushioning.

However, so far, NB has kept releases of new colorways of the v6 few and far, with the classic Grey and Action Bronson’s rainbow-colored pair being the most memorable. Now, a fresh colorway of the v6 has surfaced.

The NB 990v6 “Purple Angora” features a cream-hued mesh upper, with the same cream color appearing at the mudguard, lace unit and heel. To complete the “Purple Angora” color scheme, purple and pink suede overlays extend all over the mesh body, alongside more purple accents on the Fuel Cell sole unit.

While there’s only one lone image of the New Balance 990v6 “Purple Angora”, you can expect it to drop some time within the year at a retail price of JPY36,300 (~US$195). Follow along as we bring you more updates of this pair.
