Hirofumi Kiyonaga’s SOPHNET. run it back with Vans for the first time in four years. This time, they collaborate on the latter’s iconic Old Skool and Authentic silhouettes.

Both pairs are dressed in a singular, uniform grey palette. Both pairs are an interpretation of “city camouflage”, the titular city being Tokyo. Its scenes are depicted underfoot visible through the transparent outsole. It doesn’t deviate at all too much in terms of shape and construction, maintaining the familiar features that made the above-mentioned models as beloved as they are.

The Authentic is currently priced at JPY14,300 (~US$105) with the Old Skool at JPY15,400 (~US$115). Find them on SOPHNET.’s webstore and BILLY’s from 13 May.
