The NBA season has just started and the tripartite collection is making sure opening week’s just exciting as the NBA Finals. BAPE®︎, a legendary fixture in steetwear; Mitchel & Ness, the premier producer of official authentic uniforms; and the NBA, the biggest basketball league in the world, form this “Big Three” teamup like Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman.

For their sophomore effort, they’ll be releasing an 8-piece collection of Hardwood Classics jerseys and shorts, based on the four teams where the BAPESTORE®︎ US brick-and-mortar are located in. Thus, the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, New Jersey Nets, and New York Knicks. Each of the four teams will get an alternate colorway.

The offerings will be an amalgam of BAPE®︎’s signature camouflage patterns, Mitchell & Ness’ unmatched craftsmanship, and the NBA’s retro jerseys. The BAPE®︎ head logo will star opposite the NBA’s Jerry West one on each side of the chest while the left corner will feature Mitchell & Ness’ branding and standard Hardwood Classics tag. The shorts will have two pockets as well.

“93” is the staple jersey number, save for the Knicks’ “33”, an homage to its franchise legend Patrick Ewing. A special black colorway for the Nets will also be released, an acknowledgement of the team’s new colors since relocating to Brooklyn.

The collection will go live from 22nd October at A BATHING APE® authorized stores and US.BAPE.COM.

In other sneaker-related news in the NBA, Japanese superstar and Wizards forward Rui Hachimura gets his own Air Jordan 37.
