fragment’s Signature Colors Outfits the Converse Weapon Mid
Reminiscing Hiroshi Fujiwara's previous collaborative releases with Nike.
[Update 5 May 2023] Hiroshi Fujiwara’s FRGMT imprint and Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack will always be tethered together, with them producing one of the most coveted sneakers (it wouldn’t be an understatement to say) in history. Now the godfather of streetwear looks to lay his Midas touch on another classic Americana footwear, the Converse Weapon.
New images have surfaced, but more importantly, a release date. Go get yours on Converse’s website on 11 May for US$140. As usual when it comes to fragment design, make haste!
Following the coveted three-way partnership with Travis Scott and Jordan Brand, Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design is set to bring his signature tones to a pair of Converse Weapon Mid.
Dressed in a “White/Sport Royal/Black” color scheme throughout its leather upper, the pair reminisces of the his Nike Air Jordan 3 sample that was revealed recently. Structure stays true to the silhouette’s OG form, while debossed lightning logos adds its collaborative identity in a subtle manner.
No release details were confirmed for the fragment x Converse Weapon Mid “White/Sport Royal/Black” yet, but rest assured we will keep you updated here when more info surfaces.
