Dior and Birkenstock To Release Three New Colorways for Their Collection
Thibo Denis reveals three new colorways for their ongoing Dior x Birkenstock collection.
[Update 15 May 2023] Following the early looks, official shots of the Dior x Birkenstock collection has now surfaced, revealing a lineup of Tokio Mule and Milano Sandal models. Take a look at the images on the article slider above and expect the collection to drop on 18 May.
Birkenstock has certainly been dipping its toes into the luxury market. Since its collaboration with Dior first debuted last year, the German brand has worked with the likes of Gucci and Fear of God. Coming into the hot summer months, it seems the Dior x Birkenstock collection is releasing three new colorways.
Posted by Dior men’s footwear designer, Thibo Denis, the three new colorways namely come in neon yellow, mint and dark olive. Similar to the original collection, the outsole comes with co-branding, with Dior’s monogram logo taking the top half while Birkenstock is represented with “Birk” text.
It’s not immediately clear if these three new colorways are on the already-debuted Milano Sandal and Tokio Mule models, or if there’s new silhouettes being worked on. What we can be sure is that the iconic hallmark buckles will be present.
