Pop Mart’s Crybaby and Crocs Join Forces for Latest Release
So cute you may cry.
Following recent collaborations revealed including Salehe Bembury and Minecraft, footwear label Crocs now taps Chinese merchandise label Pop Mart’s iconic character Crybaby for their upcoming release.
Known for their expressive crying designs, the Crybaby series has attracted attention from many figurine collectors and certain designs have sold out on platforms, proving its popularity in the mainstream market.
The latest collaborative work takes its spot with the Crocs Classics, looking to a playground theme with its prize wheel-inspired prints on the uppers. Arriving alongside the pair comes six standard Jibbitz designs and one mystery design.
Pre-releasing via Hey Box on 17 April, the Pop Mart x Crybaby x Crocs collection will see a wider release via Crocs China online on 26 April and selected stores on 27 April.
The Crocs Classics will retail at 688 RMB (~US$100), while Jibbitz will be made available at random for 99 RMB (~US$15) individually and 594 RMB (~US$87) for a set of six.
