The New Balance Made in UK 576 Gets Dressed in an Austere “Monks Robe”
Made with the highest grade in New Balance's UK factory in Flimby, Cumbria.
The New Balance 576 Made in UK was introduced in 1988, helping the New England firm in establishing a manufacturing foothold abroad. This year, the shoe made in Flimby, Cumbria, celebrates its 35th anniversary. With that, comes more inline releases like the “Pink Mauve” that will accompany the titular pair on release day.
“Monks Robe”, Coconut Milk and Whisper White form its palette, all displayed across a combination of pig suede, mesh, and synthetic accents. The hallmark ENCAP midsole cushioning is a mainstay while further comfort is supplied through the motion control CR device. Traditional New Balance branding mark the body on the lateral walls, tongue, and heel counter. Completing the whole look, white laces have also been used to match the soft interior lining of the sneakers.
The pair will be available on New Balance’s website from 20 April for US$230.
