The Reebok Instapump Fury 95 remains one of the popular choices among the brand’s offerings for collaborations. Under the likes of Maison Margiela, Loony Tunes and Astro Boy, the model has undergone wacky color palettes, overhauled with intricate line work and more. Now, in a special Hidarikiki no Eren (commonly translated as Eren the Southpaw) x Reebok collaboration, the Instapump Fury 95 becomes part of a story that represents the struggles of artists.

The ongoing manga Hidarikiki no Eren revolves around two central artists — an aspiring graphic designer that deals with feelings of mediocrity and a prodigy whose overwhelming talent has left her isolated. The series’ message to never be a bystander, but rather immerse yourself in the art of life, resonated with Reebok’s “Life Is Not A Spectator Sport” art campaign. Not to mention, the manga’s artist Kappy is also a well-known sneakerhead and has been drawing his characters in the Instapump Fury before Reebok reached out for a collaboration.

It’s no surprise, then, that campaign images include Kappy’s illustrations of the characters in the Hidarikiki no Eren x Reebok Instapump Fury 95. In this edition, blue hits are seen on the upper and toe box. Overlayed on this blue are Core Black panels. The midsole features a mix of pale gray and white while the outsole rounds out in the same blue.
