While Carhartt WIP is mainly known for classic workwear offerings, recent collaborative projects including Marni and more has shown a different perspective and design approach from the brand. Following rumors of a Nike SB Dunk, the workwear brand now taps Awake NY for a collaborative SS23 collection release.

Decorating classic silhouettes comes Awake NY’s magical streetwear touch on details, outfitting a range of active jacket, hoodie, double knee pants, jacquard cardigan and beanie in co-branded embroideries, labels and signature illustrations.

The whole collection is then completed in Awake NY’s classic color palette of Black, Dark Green, Blue and Hamilton Brown. Campaign imagery also showcases renowed rapper William Michael Griffin Jr. aka Rakim docked in the collaborative items.

Scheduled to release on 6 April, the Carhartt WIP x Awake NY SS23 collection is expected to arrive via the respective brands and select retailers. Meantime, we will keep you informed if more updates surfaces.
