Fresh off its 40th anniversary last year, the Nike Air Force 1 shows no signs of stopping coming into its 41st year. The “perfect white sneaker”, as some call it, has already seen a flurry of new releases lined up for 2023. Examples include collaborative efforts such as Stamps and Nobu’s Sushi Force 1 and inline colorways like this Satin-clothed Air Force 1.

Joining the lineup today is one the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Since 1982”. As its name suggests, Nike’s latest proffering pays tribute to the history of the silhouette, first started in the titular year.

Coming in a fully decked out Sail leather upper, “Since 1982” is proudly stated throughout the shoe. Its all-over deboss of the text draws similarities to the white Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1. Just in case it wasn’t clear enough, Nike drives home the point with more “Since 1982” branding on the tongue tab and insole.

Accentuating this Air Force 1 ever so slightly is a Metallic Silver Swoosh logo. The laces, inner lining and midsole take on a cleaner tone of white, allowing for the all-over debossing to take center stage on this silhouette.
