ancco x Converse All Star Takes You Higher With Chunkyline Hi

Art has many form, and in recent years, has taken to sneakers as a canvas for their designs. Japanese artist ancco, known for her cute illustrations and past works with ice cream company Pino and Marc Jacobs, has also looked to Converse for a collaborative release with the Chunkyline Hi.
Taking on a theme of “BUBBLE GUM”, the Chuck Taylor style silhouette sees a classic canvas upper construction, equipped with an elevated EVA platform sole. Decorated with ant-shaped embroideries throughout its body, an original ant illustration also adds a cute aesthetic in the form of rubber patches on the sides.
Looking to the interior, similar illustration and ancco’s signature docks the bed of insoles. Lastly, matching the artist’s art style, vibrant pastel hues of orange and green prepares for a two colorway lineup.
With a release date set for 3 February, both colorways of the ancco x Converse All Star Chuckyline Hi are now available for purchase via atmos for 16,500 JPY (~US$130) a pair.
