[Update 28 Mar 2023] Official images, and an official name have surfaced for the pair-of-discussion. Although now known as the Air Jordan 2 Low “Seersucker”—superseding the previous “Atmosphere—the release date and price point is unchanged with the pair arriving on 8 April for US$150. Find them on Nike’s brick-and-click then.

[Update 31 Jan 2023] On-feet images have come to light via @prvt.selection. Although constructed as a women’s exclusive, that’s clearly a man’s leg in the photos so rejoice, my guy. Pink may have been predominantly female since Mamie Eisenhower “owned it” in the ’50s, but it’s 2023 now. Pink on your feet don’t stink. The release date is scheduled for April so the official images should arrive within the next few months, or even weeks.

[Update 18 Jan 2023] More images of the AJ 2 have been shared courtesy of @consistentkixzllc. The release date stays firm at 8 April and so does the US$150 price tag. With D-Day more imminent by the day, official images should surface soon. Stay tuned!

The last year has seen the oft-forgotten Nike Air Jordan 2 come to the fore. While this year sees the silhouette take on a more femme-focused redesign. Thus far, at least four colorways have been announced: the “Soft Pink”, the “Muslin”, the “Look Up in the Air”, and the titular “Atmosphere”.

The colorway sees the AJ 2 dressed in a pink seersucker fabric throughout the upper. Standing complementary are the tonal leather trimming on the tongue and the translucent TPU mold on the lower heel counter. For contrast comes the Pale Vanilla accenting the shoe on the eye stays, the lining adjacent, the upper heel counter, and the sock liner. But most prominently on the Jordan Wings logo embedded on the tongue.

All the above-mentioned sit atop a neutral White midsole. Anchored by a mix of Grey and Pale Vanilla, framing the Nike branding on the rear of the outsole underfoot.

A release date has been scheduled for 8 April with an RRP of US$150. Find them on SNKRS when the day comes to pass.

In the same umbrella, find out more about the return of the Nike Air Max 1 “Shima Shima”.
