Teyana Taylor has established a reputation for herself as a sneakerhead and fashion icon since breaking into the scene in the 2000s. Having previously worked with Ewing Athletics, Adidas, and Reebok, the singer, actress, dancer, and choreographer is now collaborating with the Jordan brand to give the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 a distinctive spin.
This head turning collaborative pair has a traditional white leather foundation with “Gym Red” leather overlays that transition to a dark brown tone at the heel counter. The right shoe prefers embroidered Swooshes in red with green embroidery in the style of a rose’s prickles, while the left shoe prominently displays huge leather Swooshes in black with exaggerated zig-zag stitching across it. Additional collaboration details include a rose-themed Swoosh on the tongue of the right shoe, “TEY” lettering on the tongue of the left shoe, and “A ROSE from Harlem” text that extends across the collar’s hidden side.
Official release details are yet to be announced, but do expect the Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 SP “A Rose From Harlem” to hit the shelves this year with a price tag of US $150. It is reported that it will launch in women’s sizes.
