New Balance 990v2 Made in USA Outfitted in Pink and Purple
Embrace a rainbow of hues fit for spring.
Before Teddy Santis was hired as one of its creative directors, New Balance already had momentum working in its favor, but the Boston brand reached new heights once the projects he oversaw began to be made public. His strong eye for detail and eye-catching color combinations have perked up the sportswear behemoth. And with the addition of this new colorway, Teddy Santis’ Made in USA collection will grow into the first quarter of 2023.
The ALD creator welcomes the new year by adding a striking three-toned hue to the New Balance 990v2. Vibrant pink and purple color-blocking is applied to the top mesh layers as well as the surrounding smooth premium pig suede overlays. White dominates the tongues and laces, with brighter yellow accents applied to the N emblems and internal liners, which give the lifestyle sneakers a faint Lakers-inspired personality. The ABZORB-cushioned midsole sections on the bottom have creamy exteriors while the bottoms are completely black.
Check out a detailed look at the pair above while waiting for the release, which will be happening on 12 January via New Balance’s website.
