2022 was undoubtedly a big year for the GEL-Lyte III having been involved in many interesting collaborations with long-time partner-in-crime atmos, New York legend KITH, and Australia’s HAL STUDIOS, just a few from the laundry list. Lest we forget, its own solo efforts are equally commendable.

It’s built quite a momentum in the past 12 months and the inertia may well last into the next 12. At the vanguard of this movement will be see an ensemble of earth tones proliferate all over the pair. Disparation lends a strong stamp on the blueprint with Olive, Grey, Muslin, and Beige dancing around the shoe; alternating between base layers and overlays, permeating the different intersections of the upper and sole unit. The construction convolutes as well involving suede on the overlays, ballistic mesh underneath, moulded rubber on the heels, and leather on the branding on the profiles.

A release date hasn’t been disclosed, other than a vague 2023. They’re expected to go for US$120 when they do arrive on ASICS’s brick-and-click.
