LINE

HAL STUDIOS®, the design arm of Australian boutique Highs and Lows, link up with ASICS again for their sophomore collaboration. Once more on the same GEL-1130 canvas, they follow it up this time with a darker reimagining. While the first pair, thematically called “Earth” makes obvious their inspiration, its successor takes it from the color palette of the “Forest”, aptly named so—particularly the lush greens that surround the Shinto shrines in Japan.

The mesh base lay the groundwork for the grey slate overlays to take root on the upper. These overlays of mixed materials, one in leather and others suede, bloom with the colors of its provenance: forest green, brown, beige, and black.

The forest green appearing on the oversized ASICS branding on the lateral as well as the tip. The brown, on the leather strip that traverses underneath the aforementioned logo from the fore of the eyestays to the heel. Orange accents, the renderings of the Shinto shrines, takes its place on the heel and the insoles. The pair will be offered with complementary socks in forest green and brown.

Information is sparse at the time of writing with no release date being announced yet. But rest assured you’ll hear it from us once we get word through the grapevine.

Here’s another recent ACISCS collaboration if they’re you’re cup of tea, check out the Nice Kicks x ASICS GEL-Lyte III OG “Black Sesame”.
