[Update 20 Apr 2023] The Nike Dunk Low “Black Canvas” has received an official release date. This simple and cool pair will drop on 2 May with a US$110 retail price. Take a look at the official imagery via the gallery above as we count down to its arrival.

[Update 27 Feb 2023] Official product images of the “Black Canvas” Dunk Low have finally emerged. It’s been teased since last year but with these new photos coming to light, there’s reason to believe its release date is imminent. Stay tuned!

[Update 19 Dec] On-feet images have surfaced, courtesy of @yankeekicks. Considering the versatility of the Dunk Lows and the black makeup, it’s not hard to imagine how this pair will look in action. At the time of writing, Nike has yet to disclose any other information but with these set of photos arriving, a release date shouldn’t be far behind.

LINENow could possibly be the Nike Dunk Low’s apex, experiencing a ubiquity hitherto reserved for its contemporaries from the ’80s. Its iterations are numerous, colorways countless, and every collaboration on the pair seems to summon hype like the anticipation of the Pope’s arrival in Brazil.

For all its variations, its simplicity is the foundation for its success. The pair-in-discussion deviates from its usual leather construction, opting instead for a canvas base layer, save for the profile Swooshes in its original material. There’s no adornment, leading beholders to view the pair holistically. A singular black colorway dresses the entirety of the upper and outsoles, only separated by the white rubber midsoles.

Nothing has been disclosed about the pair alongside these leaked images, but they’re expected to arrive sometime in the next year.

Elsewhere under the Nike umbrella, Converse restocks their COMME Des GARÇONS PLAY Chuck 70s for the holidays.
