Paisley has long been a favorite motif for the gens du monde, accepted by every fashion tier—high-end and street. It’s not at all surprising that it would find itself dressing one of the most recognizable footwear in that realm, and it’s far from being the only one. It’s an MO tried and tested, and the two-tone color-blocking of the Dunk Low rarely goes wrong for Nike.

White leather serves as the base layer as usual with overlays dressed in a light pink hue. With all its hallmarks a mainstay, the only deviation comes from the titular “Pink Paisley” motif that adorns the profile Swooshes. Not in its usual die-cut leather make, but in canvas, where its lines lead to the heel tab featuring “Nike” embroidery in white laid over the bohemian floral patterns.

As above, so below. The colors of the above-mentioned overlays dresses the outsole underfoot as a finishing touch.

With the year heading to a close, the shoemaker from Oregon has begun teasing its first batch of releases in 2023. There’s no firm date as of yet, but these Dunk Lows are expected to go for $110 on Nike. com.
