[Update 19 Jan 2023] A release date has been confirmed for the New Balance 990v3 “Brown/Green Olive”. Teddy Santis and the NB team are going for an autumnal aesthetic with the second season of New Balance MADE in USA series, and the brown and olive color palette on this pair showcases this theme beautifully.

The NB 990v3 MADE in USA “Brown/Green” will be dropping in a week’s time on 26 January at a retail price of US$210. In the meantime, browse through on-foot and product images via the photo gallery above.

Late last month, Teddy Santis dropped the New Balance MADE in USA Season 2. The seasonal collection from the Aimé Leon Dore founder boasts a range of footwear and apparel inspired by the great outdoors, with the New Balance 990v1, 990v2 and 990v3 appearing in fall-ready colors like navy, grey and tan.

Now, the Boston house looks set to unleash a second MADE in USA Season 2 capsule. A pair of 990v3 in darker shades of brown and greens has surfaced, nodding towards its theme of the exploration of nature.

This pair of New Balance 990v3 MADE in USA “Brown” features a canvas upper, as opposed to the usual mesh, in a green so intense it’s almost charcoal. Santis and team chose to deploy brown suede overlays over the upper, while prescribing the “N” logo and laces a lighter tan color. Below, the ENCAP midsole dons a soothing olive shade. With a decidedly more sombre look, NB’s newest 990v3 offering reminds us of their latest outing with JJJJound.

While we have gotten a sneak peek of this MADE in USA 990v3 “Brown” via early official imagery, no release date has been tagged to this pair. However, you can expect it to drop early next year at a reported retail price of US$210.
