Japanese designer Kobayashi Setsumasa has always shown cutting edge approaches with his label Mountain Research. With visions set towards outdoor and pro-nature concepts, practicality and functionality are definitely never compromised in his designs.

With a release of the Beatnik model with sports label Reebok back in August, the duo is officially back for their latest collaborative project.

Partnering for another footwear release, the spotlight is placed towards the LX2200 model, a silhouette inspired by archive running style. Staying true to the Japanese imprint’s message ‘Practical clothes are key’, the sneaker is designed for the best of comfort with lightweight Dyneema fabric on the upper. Constructed for swift movements on-the-go, a buffed EVA midsole and flex grooves on the outsole are equipped to the sneaker.

Set to release on 16th December, the Mountain Research x Reebok LX2200 will be made available for purchase via Reebok and selected retailers for £100 (~US$125).
