Since Michael Jordan’s retirement back in 2003, fans of the former basketball player and sneakerheads would definitely be aware of how rare it is for certain models to see the light of release in modern times. Going through the best selling Air Jordan shoes in 2022, it’s hard to predict what’s in stall for the series but rumors has something for the fans of his UNC era.

With a mockup image provided by @zsneakerheadz, the Nike Air Jordan 2 Retro Low “UNC” is inspired from a PE pair that MJ wore during the UNC Alumni game in 28th June, 1987. Docked in a classic white and university blue upper, the low-cut model shows a clean aesthetic with no swoosh logo on its body.

With a long wait to the release date of 22nd July 2023, the Nike Air Jordan 2 Retro Low “UNC” will arrive in Mens and GS sizing for $160 and $130 respectively via Nike and selected retailers.
