Puma x Hirotton Makes Life a Killer Party
There's no reason to wait anymore.
Fashion has always been described as a form of identity and self expression, but with the industry taking new steps and moving forward, it has turned into a culture, investment and even a new form of art. Zooming into the art aspects, collaborations do not only refer to fashion labels, but even with creatives outside of the field.
With Puma, a new creative collection is seeing a release with the focus set on the land of the rising sun. Recruiting Japanese drawing artist and skateboarder Hirotton, the collection features inspirations taken from skateboarding, with original graphics designed for the collaboration.
Taking the Suede Skate models, the designs shows Hirotton’s hopes of the future in the form of various graphics including a hourglass which represents time and lightsticks for future visions. Releasing in two colorways, the choices were made from the colors that the artist frequently uses and paint splatter design on the uppers recreates the scene where his shoes gets dipped in paint in the midst of his works. Finished with a set of messages on the sneaker, the left side shows “Life is such a killer party” while the other writes “There’s no reason to wait anymore”.
Alongside the sneaker comes with a range of apparel wear consisting of t-shirts and hoodies which features the motif designs and co-branded logos.
Set to release on 11th November, the Puma x Hirotton capsule collection will be made available via Puma, atmos Tokyo and selected retailers.
