Since its debut in 1982, this year officially marks the 40th anniversary of Nike’s Air Force 1 silhouette. Commemorating the occasion, the sports label has been dropping countless iteration of the model with a special “Color Of The Month” series among the releases. Having the “University Blue” colorway just released as November’s representative, an upcoming “Metallic Silver” colorway has been announced for the month of December.

Utilizing the popular white leather upper as the base, the swoosh is decorated with a metallic silver finish for a premium look. On the shoe tongues, a special “Anniversary Edition” text is printed on the label while classic NIKE AIR logos occupy the heel tabs. A special “Since 1982” labeled toothbrush and hangtag is also known to be included in the packaging, just like the past releases.

While no specific release dates are confirmed at the moment, stay tuned as the Nike Air Force 1 Low Retro “Metallic Silver” will be made available in December via Nike and selected retailers for a retail price of 16,500 JPY (~US$115).
