Glow with the ASICS x atmos GEL-LYTE III OG “PYTHON” Pack
Don’t worry, these won’t bite.
Introduced in 1990, the GEL-LYTE III models have been a go-to sneaker for many sneakerheads due to the minimalist design and superb comfort. Forwarding to 2020, ASICS has brought back the old design as part of their 30th anniversary, named the “OG” series. This time, ASICS and atmos Tokyo have linked up for a new “PYTHON” colorway pack to give a luxurious update to the everyday sneaker.
Combined with a premium smooth leather and suede leather upper, phosphorescent material is filled between the heel which gives an image of a window panel, opening to what looks like the eyes of a python.
The most distinctive design of this collaboration would be the Python skin-like texture that is recreated on the side ASICS stripes which turns your next-door friendly sporty look into a whole new mature vibe, ending off the collaboration with two colorways which can be described as a more refined shades of white and black.
Retailing for JPY16,500 (~US$120), get your hands (or feet) on a pair at atmos on 23rd September.
