Can’t Stop The R-Train: New Balance Pumps Out 5 More 1906Rs
New Balance's design team's clearly trying to recreate the whole colour wheel using 1906R's.
It’s undeniable – New Balance has been on a roll lately. That doesn’t look to stop anytime soon, as the brand has scheduled what appears to be 5 new M1906R colourways to be released after mid-September.
Each design sticks to the silhouette we know and love – breatheable mesh inserts make up the inner surface of the upper, while premium nubuck leather runs in thin intersecting streaks across the shoe’s length. Similarly to most other 1906R models put out recently, the New Balance logo is composed of three textured rectangular panels that join together in a small “N”, contrasted by a shiny outline which gives additional depth to the design. Finally, each sole unit across all 5 colourways contains similarly thing and intersecting streaks that continue the general “flow” of the shoe.
Though the colourways don’t have official names quite yet, they could be described as follows: “White/Black/Cherry”, “Olive/Grey”, “Navy/Baby Blue”, “White/Silver” and “Grey/Gold”. Like the official names, not many details are currently known about this wealth of new 1906R releases, so keep it locked as more information surfaces!
In case 5 new 1906R colourways isn’t enough, check out the upcoming 2-piece 1906R “Cordura Pack” and the colourway pair, 1906RA and 1906RB that dropped last week.
