Tokyo-based streetwear brand SAYHELLO gears up for a debut sneaker collaboration, partnering with Converse for a duo to add to the + Series of Converse Skateboarding: “Breakstar SK SAYHELLO OX +” and “CS Slip-On SK SAYHELLO +”.

The Breakstar SK SAYHELLO OX + is dressed in turquoise and cobalt blue, marked by embroidered stars on the lateral and heel. “SAYHELLO” text in a distorted font is featured on the tongue, with the majority of the silhouette’s detailing kept intact. The CS Slip-On SK SAYHELLO + upper is made with suede and canvas. The upper features split colors of moss green and Prussian blue, the sneaker morphs from light gray to darker gray from the side panel to the back of the heel. Moving to the back, SAYHELLO branding is embossed on the heel tab, right above the Converse logo on the heel and midsole. Both pairs of sneakers are equipped with Converse’s original high-performance insoles “REACT SK” with co-branding graphics printed on them.

From a performance standpoint, both silhouettes are foam-padded for extra comfort. Both pairs are also backed by rubber for even more durability. The insoles are crafted from high-density foam providing excellent shock absorption, durability, and flexibility. A special traction pattern on the outsole serves up a skate-specific grip. Both pairs are durable as skate shoes but can also be used on a daily basis!

Both the Breakstar SK SAYHELLO OX + and CS Slip-On SK SAYHELLO + will release in August for ¥14,300 (US$150) and ¥15,400 (US$160) respectively.  You can get your hands on these through the Converse JP webstore.
