[Update 7 Jul 2022] Just in: this Supreme x Vans Skate collab has been cancelled. The collab sees Nate Lowman’s famed bullet hole motif on three different colorways of the Vans Skate Grosso Mid. Lowman’s bullet holes are a well known design amongst Supreme fans, having appeared on Box logo tees and accessories before.
[Update 6 Jul 2022] More images have surfaced for the Supreme x Vans Grosso Mid with Nate Lowman’s signature bullet holes! Three colorways — red, black and white — will be made available. Constructed from suede and and canvas, the inside sockliners and insoles are also made of premium leathers. Keep scrolling for more pictures!

Rounding off Supreme’s Spring/Summer 2022 offerings, which was interspaced with rounds of collaborations with other giants like Nike and The North Face, is a Supreme x Vans Grosso Mid. For this partnership, the duo enlisted the help of American artist Nate Lowman and his signature bullet holes.
Among other things, Nate Lowman’s cartoon-like bullet hole art suggests influence from Pop Art. It is also a critique of the desensitisation of violence in media and mass culture. The unabashed look and usually prominent placements of these bullet holes perturb viewers to confront the reality of brutality.
Such an iconic art element finds itself on the toe box and side and back of the heel of the Vans Grosso Mid, making it seem like the wearer’s foot was shot profusely. To make the bullet holes more pronounced, the shoes itself takes on an off-white color. Slightly enhancing this simple upper are trimmings of black along the sole and hits on the overlay panels.
Though the sneaker design is expected to drop on 7 July, there has been no news as to when the Supreme x Vans Grosso Mid is slated for release. Luckily for us, though, Supreme team skater Beatrice Domond has leaked a couple of pictures for us on her Instagram stories. Keep scrolling to see more images of this shoe!
