[Update 21 Jun 2022] Official release dates and images have surfaced for this highly anticipated Supreme x Nike Shox Ride 2 Collection! A global release will happen on Supreme’s website on 23 June while Japan will receive them slightly later on 25 June.

Closer looks reveal branding details that elevate the already-iconic design. Mesh and leather form the upper while the tongue and heel panels are made of nubuck. Most interestingly, the rubber outsole with airbags and molded Shox pillars are branded with Supreme’s logo, giving the wearer Supreme support both in functionality and design. 

Attached to the Supreme x Nike collection is the unprecedented release of The Running Hat, which features Dri-FIT mesh along with embroidered and reflective logos on the strap closure. An exclusive release, both the Supreme x Nike Shox Ride 2 and Running Hat will be offered in four complementary colorways — black, red, khaki green and white.

Every Supreme x Nike collaboration becomes a hit in the community, with it quickly selling out. In a recent leak, fans of the two can anticipate a Shox Ride 2 collection! Release dates are speculated to be somewhere in Spring 2022!

Nike Shox was born in time for the Sydney Olympics in 2000. They were released one after another, starting with the Shox BB4 worn by Vince Carter, who was part of the U.S. national basketball team at the time.

What made the model famous was its cushioning system. The system generates rebound energy and is based on the kinetic movement of a bouncing spring. Now, the technological masterpiece will be the star of this anticipated collaboration.

Supreme and Nike have been collaborating with each other for more than 20 years and has created many iconic items. From this popular collaboration, the Shox Ride 2 has been leaked in white, olive and red. While keeping the futuristic design, the “Supreme” logo is placed on the toe. It is also equipped with a Shox cushioning system on the heel and “Air” system on the toe, whole of them makes a pair with mechanical features and stylish design.
