[Update 16 Jun 2022] Official photos of the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Hi-Res Red” have landed. Featuring a combination of leather, mesh and suede, Kanye’s upcoming sneaker has successfully created buzz and sparked the interest of collectors with its unusually vibrant colorway. While Kanye has called out adidas for its “Yeezy Slide copy”, it seems the footwear brand is going ahead with the planned release of the Yeezy Boost 700 “Hi-Res Red” tomorrow.

The next upcoming release from adidas Yeezy is here! “Hi-Res Red” is a blazing-hot addition to the range of Summer 2022 colourways. The Yeezy Boost 700 “Hi-Res Red” features a mix of suede, mesh and leather textures across the upper. There are some callbacks to previous Yeezy Boost 700 models, such as the black suede of the “Wave Runner”.

“Hi-Res Red” turns heads with its sheer contrasts – bright red on the upper and outsole, vibrant orange and blue splashed across the midsole and light grey on the toe, juxtaposed by deep black and neutral grey along the upper. Looking at the outsole, red rubber makes way for classic white Boost material to shine through. Overall, the colourway would be a strong statement under summer sunlight.
