Nike and Korean streetwear brand PEACEMINUSONE, founded by G-Dragon, are no strangers. The pair previously worked on two iterations of Air Force 1s and the first PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 was dropped late last year.

Now, the fashion-forward brand is banding together with Nike again to remake the Kwondo 1 in “Panda” (or “White/Black”) colors. The PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 was built as an extension of G-Dragon’s contemporary style, right down to the name of the model. “Kwondo” is an amalgamation of taekwondo, Kwon Ji-young (G-dragon’s legal name), and Nike’s “Just Do It” slogan.

Characteristic of all PEACEMINUSONE x Nike collaborations is an embroidered daisy flower motif with a missing petal. In the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 Panda, the iconic daisy is decorated on the black heel. Another Kwondo 1 signature is the removable tongue flap that has Nike and PEACEMINUSONE branding on each side.

Following the Panda colorway, this tongue flap is a premium black leather that rests on a white tongue. Stylish brogue details line the black accents on the upper. The Swoosh and sole unit also takes on the same black hue.

No official release dates have been set for the G-Dragon PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 Panda, but it is expected to drop later this year. Keep our page in your bookmarks to be updated with the latest news and release information.
