[Update 20 Jul 2022] Set to launch tomorrow via JJJJound’s webstore, the JJJJound x Reebok NPC II pays homage to the rich heritage of this 1985 classic tennis sneaker with a clean, all-white palette.

The collaborative sneaker marks their fourth partnership, and JJJJound recently revealed that the shoes will come in multiple variations featuring different materials and textures. Some variants feature arctic white leather uppers with ivory soles, while others sport optic white tumbled leather uppers and marshmallow sole units with chalk white liners—you never know what you’re gonna get!

Line

Clean, minimalistic and simple characterises the timeless nature of JJJJound, and they are injecting their aesthetic into the Reebok NPC II through a JJJJound x Reebok NPC II collaboration. Also known as the Newport Classic, the sneaker is an iconic 80’s silhouette that was embedded within the time’s tennis scene.

In the pictures released by the brand, a neutral colour palette washes the entire shoe. A white leather upper is accompanied by contrast black stitching and white laces. Cool tone beige is the colour of choice for the nylon tongues and terry cloth interiors.

The sole rounds off with an off-white, cream shade. JJJJound brands themselves in gold on the side while Reebok embosses their name on the sole. Nothing is particularly loud or over-the-top, just how JJJJound likes it.

Though there are no release dates for the JJJJound x Reebok NPC II at the moment, we’ll be sure to update you as soon as more details drop. In the meantime, feast your eyes on the sample picture available below.
