[Update 23 May 2022] The release date for both Kasina x Nike Air Max 1 colorways has been confirmed. The initital drop of these 25th anniversary sneakers will be on 4 Jun at Kasina, followed by a 8 Jun release at SNKRS.

[Update 19 May 2022] A second colorway of Kasina x Nike Air Max 1 was seen on Korean musicians Dynamic Duo earlier. Featuring the same tumbled leather and suede upper, the new addition comes in a more subdued Grey and Teal colorway. Besides a regular shoe box that features an allover Kasina x Air Max 1 print, the sneakers also come in a custom-made box reminiscent of traditional Korean gift boxes, complete with prints of mandarin ducks and the Nike Swoosh.

Kasina is a popular boutique for sneaker enthusiasts in South Korea, and the Dunks released as part of the 2020 collaboration have sold for pre-market prices. Its influence knows no bounds, and it has several stores in various formats in South Korea.

This year, 2022, marks the 25th anniversary of Cassina’s opening, as well as the 35th anniversary of Air Max 1. Their collaboration was announced by Kasina on Instagram. One of them, we can see the probably engraved design on the Air max 1. The collaboration will surely be a must-see item for enthusiasts.
