In line with the 40th anniversary of the beloved Air Force 1, Nike has been churning out unique iterations of the Bruce Kilgore-designed sneaker, including this pair with mismatched Chenille Swooshes and this one that comes with a golden toothbrush.

Moving on to its regular releases, it looks like we are also being treated to special edition Air Force 1s. A pair of Nike Air Force 1 Low “See-Through” has just surfaced, and it is one of the rare times the AF1 model gets “spliced up”.

This predominantly-white pair may look unsuspectingly similar to its many other AF1 sisters and brothers, but, take a closer look, and you will realise that the Swoosh has opted for a translucent TPU cut-out at the mid-foot, revealing a blue Swoosh at the exposed part. Incisions are also made at the forefoot to reveal a layer of snakeskin leather underneath, intentionally breaking up the all-white color scheme.

The medial side of the shoe, however, has been kept the same, with the regular Nike Swoosh appearing in white leather at the side. The heel, midsole, outsole and laces also all come in the AF1’s classic white.

We do not have the confirmed release date for this pair of Nike Air Force 1 Low “See-Through”, so stay tuned as we bring you more latest updates!
