You know what they say — every month after June, you’ll start to hear the echoes of Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé in every place you go (or something like that). Brands start to tap into the deepest recesses of their mind to think about how they can incorporate season festivities in their offerings — and that includes the Jordan team. Well, this year, they’re slightly ahead of schedule and photos of a Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid “Christmas” have started to circulate.

Emulating Christmas color codes, this Air Jordan 1 comes dressed in a jet black nubuck upper. Closer inspection reveals that these black panels are decorated with snowflake-like patterns that has been lasered onto the material. Adding Santa Claus vibrancy to the shoe are soft red leather overlays, while the pine green laces reminisce Christmas trees. Like first snow, a clean white Swoosh sweeps across the lateral sides while functional gum outsoles round out the shoe to ensure no slipping and sliding mishaps this holiday season. The star atop the tree is the gold Nike branding on the tongue.

There’s no denying it — this Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid is so blatant in its Christmas reference that perhaps only the CPFM x Nike Dunk Low “Grinch” beats it in its overt display of holiday cheer. This pair of Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid Christmas is this year’s holiday release and will aptly come in family sizing. Retail prices are set at US$135 for Men’s, US$120 for GS, US$80 for PS, and US$65 for TD.

Just in case you’ve forgotten, there’s still Halloween coming up before the ho-ho-holidays, so why not check out this Neckface x Nike SB Dunk Low that’s decked out in ghostly graffiti?
