Joe Freshgoods Goes “Beneath the Surface” With New Balance
Spotlighting the 610 and Rainier Boot silhouettes.
[Update 25 Apr 2023] The upcoming Joe Freshgoods x New Balance “Beneath the Surface” pack has received a wider release date. For those looking to cop, you will be able to find them on New Balance’s website on 28 April.
[Update 19 Apr 2023] An online raffle of the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance “Beneath the Surface” pack has now opened for US residents via Joe Freshgoods alongside an announcement of an in-store raffle in Chicago via Every Now & Then. To take part in the physical raffle, bring a new or gently used book or art supplies and you’ll be qualified for a chance to purchase.
Arriving after the footwear comes an apparel collection which will see a release via Every Now & Then on 21 April, followed by Joe Freshgoods on 22 April. Take a look at the latest campaign images on the article slider above as we await for the official drop.

[Update 17 Apr 2023] While official details have yet to be announced for the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance “Beneath the Surface” pack, it was revealed that F&F pairs were distributed by the Chicago-based creative, suggesting a general release to follow in the near future. Chicago-based creative Joe Freshgoods’ collaborative run with New Balance has always been an exciting focus for not only streetwear enthusiasts, but lifestyle enthusiasts likewise. Following their FW22 collection featuring the 993s, the Chicago designer now looks to new silhouettes from the American brand for their upcoming Spring 2023 collection.
Marking their fifth installment, the duo introduces a “Beneath the Surface” themed pack, which spotlights the 610 and Rainier Boot silhouettes. The pairs are a statement of JFG’s own camo print, detailed by its tonal base and mesh construction.
Accentuating the details comes an Orange/Olive and Tan/Black finish on the 610s while the Rainier Boot receives a Brown/Black palette with a GORE-TEX membrane. Branding decorates throughout in forms of JFG logos, which are also prominent on the insoles.
No exact release dates are revealed at the moment, but do expect the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance “Beneath the Surface” pack to arrive in the coming month of April. Until then, we will keep you updated here when more info surfaces.
