Following its coveted XT-4 and XT-6 series, Salomon’s latest XT-SLATE silhouette has seen its debut though a partnership with Denmark label Wood Wood. With only a mere week since the initial release, the outdoor label has already curated a latest pair for Japanese label and wander.

Taking its form in the XT-SLATE Advanced, the pair features a waffle upper with embossed linings that looks to the landscape of rocky trails. Seemingly unusual for an outdoor shoe, the duo opts for hues of white on the uppers and midsoles, before gum-colored CONTRAGRIP outsoles equips the bottom.

Focusing on the utilitarian aspect, quick lacing system allows for easy slip on and offs while maintaining optimal fit. Lastly, to mark the collaborative identity of the pair, and wander’s logos finishes off the design on the tongue tabs.

Officially releasing on 17 February, pre-orders of the and wander x Salomon XT-SLATE Advanced is now opened via and wander and ZOZOTOWN for 39,600 JPY (~US$300) a pair.
