First Look: Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 Low “White”
Another rendition of Billie Eillish's Air Force One.
[Update 10 Mar 2023] As we approach the release of the Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 Low “White”, official images have now surfaced for the pair. Check them out on the article slider above and await for the official drop.
Since Nike’s “Future 50 For Her” campaign began, more women-led projects have come to the fore. Be it athlete, artist and the like, more have been engaged to release new product lines. That so far has been all-encompassing of their subsidiaries too.
Billie Eilish for one has announced a series of Nike WMNS Jordan Hex Mule SP, and just last year released several of her own Air Forces, both high and low tops. Two colors have arrived of the latter named “Mushroom” and “Sequoia” with another triple white makeup, the pair-in-discussion, set to arrive in a few months.
Much like its predecessors, the titular AF1 arrives with very similar motifs. Patchwork being the primary. Canvas anchors the upper with decorative stitching engulfing its surface. Leather panels sporadically lay over them while keeping uniformity between these parts through an all-white palette.
Branding elements remain where they were on Bruce Kilgore’s blueprint, save for one—the metal dubraes. As opposed to the “AF1” engraved, these come with the artist’s “Blohsh” logo—a genderless stick figure with scoliosis.
The photo is, evidently a mockup from Sole Retriever but they have the Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 Low “White” purported for a 23 March release on SNKRS with a price tag of US$130. Nike nor Billie Eilish herself have acknowledged the new colorway but when official images do surface, it should be enough to ascertain the veracity of the reports.
